This Privacy Policy explains how Neufolio ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our websites, apps, and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

Account information: your email address, password (stored hashed by our authentication provider), and any display name, photo, bio, or location you choose to add.

Listings and activity: the listings, bookings, orders, reviews, messages, and meetup RSVPs you create or take part in.

Payment information: when you pay or get paid, our payments processor (Stripe) collects and processes your payment and payout details. We do not store full card or bank numbers on our own servers.

Technical information: basic device and usage data, and analytics about how the Service is used, collected to keep the Service working and to improve it.

3. How we use information

We use information to provide and operate the Service, to process payments and payouts, to connect you with other members, to send transactional messages such as confirmations and receipts, to keep the marketplace safe and prevent fraud and abuse, to provide support, and to comply with our legal obligations.

4. How we share information

With other members: your public profile, listings, and reviews are visible to other members, and the parties to a transaction can see the information needed to complete it.

With service providers: we share information with vendors that help us run the Service, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payments and identity verification), Resend (email delivery), and Vercel (hosting and analytics). These providers process information on our behalf.

For legal reasons: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Neufolio, our members, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some features may not work without them.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information after account closure where required for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.

7. Your choices and rights

You can review and update most of your information in your account settings, and you can delete your account at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. 8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including access controls at the database level. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
