Community Guidelines
Neufolio exists because anonymity, when treated with care, allows people to be more honest - not less responsible. These guidelines are how we protect that.
The rules
Write honestly
Neufolio is a space for genuine expression. We ask that every post be your own - your own words, your own experience, your own truth. Fabricating events to manipulate readers or posting content you did not write is not in the spirit of this place.
No harassment or targeting
Letters are anonymous, but that anonymity is a gift - not a shield. Do not use it to target, humiliate, or harm a specific person, even without naming them. If the intent is to wound, it does not belong here.
Use content notices
If your writing touches on grief, trauma, self-harm, abuse, or other heavy subjects, add a content notice. This is not censorship - it is care. Readers come here in vulnerable moments. A small warning is a form of respect.
No hate, no slurs, no dehumanization
Writing that targets people for their identity - race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, nationality - has no place here. This includes content that disguises hate as satire or philosophy.
Nothing illegal
Do not post content that is illegal in your jurisdiction or ours - including but not limited to content involving minors, threats of violence, or material that facilitates real-world harm.
Flagging and review
Every reader can flag a post anonymously. Flagged content is reviewed by our team. We act quickly. Writers whose posts are removed for violations will be notified. Repeated or severe violations may result in removal from the platform.
The spirit of it
We don't want a rulebook. We want a community.
These guidelines exist because we take the people who use this platform seriously - their safety, their vulnerability, their trust. If you're unsure whether something belongs here, ask yourself whether it adds to the honesty of this space or diminishes it.
